New Discoveries

Image via
Hi friends, sorry for being MIA! Last weekend I was in Chicago for my friends' wedding, which was so beautiful and amazing. It was also my first time being a wedding coordinator! It was actually not as stressful as I thought it would be and I hope everyone else thought it went smoothly. Cheers to the happy couple!

But the biggest thing is that I'm moving in a little over a week! I can't believe it's almost here and I'm so excited to have a clean slate to redecorate my space. So please bear with me as I'm getting ready to move and get everything in order before regularly scheduled posts are happening again. (Thanks to the handful of you who have been asking about upcoming blog posts! You're so kind.)

But I couldn't just leave you with nothing, so here are a few things I've discovered lately that I've really been enjoying:

The Sorry Girls / I stumbled across their YouTube channel as I was searching for organization tips/hacks to help with the move (Yes, I know I am a nerd), and I'm so glad I did. They have the coolest DIYs that I'm definitely going to try once I'm all settled in. I'm going to make this planter and this rose gold laundry hamper. What a beaut.

Junghwa by Amy Stewart / Another random discovery, but I'm in love. They have the prettiest dainty jewelry and with price tags that aren't too hard to swallow. I recently ordered this necklace to replace my very beloved, but grubby and tarnished one from BaubleBar. I'd say that the prices are similar, but the quality is better. The chain is gold-filled, so it shouldn't tarnish like the BaubleBar one! I also have my eye on these rings and this necklace.

2016 Runwell Planner / I am shocked to say that I will not be re-purchasing the Simplified Planner for 2016. Don't get me wrong, I think that they are absolutely beautiful, but I found that I didn't utilize it as much as I could have. I realized that I needed a simple planner that had a monthly view and space to jot down any to-do lists for the day. The Simplified Planner had both of these things, but there were too many dedicated spaces that ended up not being used and I couldn't overlook that. Plus, there's a hefty price tag for something that will get thrown out in a year's time. I think this one from Shinola will be perfect for next year and for a fraction of the price!
