A Quick Guide to San Francisco

I can't believe how fast my trip to San Francisco went by! Thankfully, my trip isn't over just yet. I'm spending a few more days getting some quality R&R with the fam in sunny SoCal before I head back to Minne. I have a little down time, so thought I'd give you a few quick highlights of my trip and recommendations on things to do and where to eat if you're ever in the Bay area. Be warned, it is mostly just a long list of places to eat. But hey, that's all you need, right? :)

But before I knew how to streamline my things, it meant that I was packing everything but the kitchen sink. Delicious Overnight Oats

Mornings can sometimes turn into a mad dash to get ready and out the door, which means that there's little to no time to make breakfast. And that's no good for people like me who get hangry real fast. Having breakfast is a must for me and any time I can prep ahead of time, I take advantage of it. I've been loving these overnight oats lately because they're quick, easy, and a refreshing way to start your day.

5 Recipes to Try This Weekend

My favorite part of Fourth of July (or any holiday really) is the food. #omnomnom

J and I usually keep it pretty low key and spend the Fourth grilling and having a potluck with friends. I haven't decided what I'm going to make yet, so I dove into my Pinterest archives and found some recipes I've been meaning to try and also rounded up some of my favorite crowd-pleasers for this weekend.
